Contact usIn Cérémonie d’ouverture, Alione stages a spectacular Parisian duplex transformed into a true festive setting for the 2024 Olympic Games. Bathed in light from its immense glass walls, the space overlooks Paris and offers a direct view of the Eiffel Tower, a constant reminder of the global and historic nature of the event.
The artist weaves a rich interplay of artistic references and nods to modern design.
On the upper floor, a large painting inspired by Keith Haring, with its stylized yellow figures dancing around a globe, reinforces the idea of gathering and unity among peoples
— a direct echo of the Olympic spirit.
In the downstairs living room, a black-and-white artwork clearly evokes the aesthetic of Pierre Soulages and his famous Outrenoirs, where light emerges through the depth of black.
The interior also abounds with references to iconic design:
Everything in this space breathes celebration:
an indoor pool animated by a unicorn float, multicolored cocktails ready to be served, confetti scattered across the floor, and even a copy of the day’s newspaper featuring the
Olympic rings, left on a chair as a subtle trace of the festivities.
Alione brings together the joyful celebration of everyday life, the luminous architecture of a Parisian loft, and strong references to art history and design.
Cérémonie d’ouverture is the portrait of an era and a global event, seen through the vibrant, colorful, and resolutely contemporary lens of the artist.
