Contact usWith her latest sculpture, Horizon, Valérie Hadida invites us to look beyond what is visible. Seated in a posture of serenity and surrender, the female figure seems suspended between
contemplation and reverie. Her peaceful face does not seek to observe the world; instead, it appears to be listening to it.
The artist’s signature flowing hair unfolds like a living landscape. At times it evokes clouds, sea foam, rocks, or foliage, blurring the boundaries between the human body
and nature. More than a hairstyle, it becomes an inner territory where thoughts, memories, and aspirations toward the unknown take shape.
For Valérie Hadida, the horizon is never a distant line. It is an intimate space where dreams, memories, and possibilities are born. Her outstretched legs, the body gently folded
into itself, and the hand supporting her face all convey that suspended moment when we finally stop rushing and allow the mind to wander.
With Horizon, the artist gives form to the moment when the outside world quietly fades away, making room for an inner journey. Sometimes, all it takes is a moment of silence for
the horizon to cease being a destination and become a promise.
