In Lazy Hours, Alione composes a vibrant interior where everyday life slows to the gentle rhythm of a seaside afternoon. The intimate space, bathed in bold colors and defined by the clean lines characteristic of the artist’s visual language, opens widely onto an almost dreamlike seascape. This permeability between inside and outside reflects both a desire for escape and a different way of inhabiting time.
The painting hanging on the wall, with its stylized figure and expressive painterly accents, acts as a mise en abyme of the artistic gesture, recalling the influence of street art and graphic arts in Alione’s practice.
