In this historic stone setting, her creations made with aerosol spray and permanent ink shine brilliantly.
With this exhibition, Caro Graffiti shares her vision of contemporary women: free, determined, and deeply inspiring. She offers La Commanderie a bold and refreshed artistic perspective.
From the moment they enter, visitors are immersed in a world where each piece embodies a female figure. On canvas, concrete, or steel, the faces come to life, magnified by the delicate ink lines, the vibrancy of colors, and the captivating gazes that command attention.
The artist delves into the condition of women today, drawing inspiration from icons and activist figures. “It’s my feminist side,” she confides with a smile. She pays tribute to figures like Rosa Parks, Frida Kahlo, and Marianne—the republican symbol she reimagines in paintings, sculptures, and even on aerosol cans.
