Alione unveils his interiors at Galry.
Alione’s paintings are complete worlds of their own, inhabited by light and symbols. In this new exhibition, the artist reveals intimacy as a chromatic narrative in which the viewer wanders, dreams, and interprets. An experience to be lived within the warm setting of Galry.
Until January 15, 2026, Galry is hosting Portraits d’Intérieur, the latest exhibition by contemporary artist Alione. His works—windows into intimate worlds bathed in light, symbols, and emotion—blend influences from street art, pop art, and Fauvism. The result is an invitation to immerse oneself in vibrant interior scenes, where each painting unfolds a rich, silent story.
Alione draws from a rich spectrum of major influences—from the Fauvism of great masters to the raw energy of street art. His canvases echo references to Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, pop art, and graffiti. The result: bold palettes, striking contrasts, and interiors that exude life and intensity.
The “interiors” painted by Alione are not static still lifes: they are lived-in spaces, rich with symbols and history. Each canvas invites the viewer’s gaze to wander, to decipher a detail, to imagine a story behind an object, a color, or a beam of light.
The exhibition unfolds within Galry’s distinctive atmosphere, a gallery that embraces intimacy, closeness, and a “home-like” approach to scenography. Displayed in this warm environment, the artworks offer a different kind of experience—more personal, more contemplative—far from the traditional “white cube.”
