Obey, Add Fuel, Seth, D*Face, Invader, Mosko, and other talented street artists are taking over the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Paris.
Until November 17, the exhibition “We Are Here” offers an exploration of French and international urban art.
This exhibition marks a significant first for the world of street art. It is the first time that the Petit Palais is hosting urban artists, inviting them to establish a subtle dialogue with its permanent collections and architecture.
Leading artists of the street art movement, such as Shepard Fairey, Invader, D*Face, Seth, Cleon Peterson, Hush, Swoon, Vhils, Inti, Add Fuel, and Conor Harrington, are taking over the Petit Palais with monumental works, creating connections with the museum’s collections. This artistic journey leads the visitor to an installation of more than 200 works created by 60 artists.
“The Petit Palais is very pleased to host the first urban art exhibition of this scale within a public institution, accessible to all and completely free, in a spirit of sharing culture with the widest audience, true to the principles that drive the street art movement.”
Annick Lemoine, Director of the Petit Palais
An immersive scenography invites the public to discover the full diversity and richness of this artistic movement. The exhibition, titled We Are Here, adopts a slogan used in various historical and contemporary contexts, such as civil rights struggles. It evokes feelings of affirmation, resilience, and protest. It also expresses the visibility and legitimacy gained by the street art movement.
Notably, artists Mosko, Add Fuel, and Shepard Fairey, represented by Galry, are also featured in this exhibition currently at the Petit Palais. Feel free to ask us for catalogs of the available works!
Petit Palais, Avenue Winston Churchill, 75008 Paris. Free entry. Open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
