Art as a manifesto — a voice without words, painting in defiance, posting to awaken, drawing to break the silence.
At GALRY, May is more than just a month — it’s a momentum. A cry. A declaration.
Rooted in the legacy of workers’ struggles, feminist movements, and anti-racist fights, this May 2025 celebrates art in its most committed, vibrant, and human form.
“Art must disturb comfort, shake certainty, and reveal the unseen.”
— Galry Manifesto
Through the intersecting visions of Seaty, C215, Caro Graffiti, and Stoul, this exhibition offers a journey through a world in flux — where the artist becomes witness,
messenger, sometimes even a guide.
Seaty’s portraits, whether from Hanoi or Niamey, remind us that every gaze carries a
story, a dignity, a voice too often forgotten.
C215 engraves memory into the walls — resistance fighters, thinkers, poets like Rimbaud or Raoni — restoring their
presence in public space.
Caro Graffiti gives visibility to the invisible, with powerful work that blends feminism, urban life, and introspective
tattooed narratives.
Stoul crafts a graphic language of geometric forms and vibrant colors, speaking of balance, the
city, and freedom.
“Art as a manifesto” means speaking without words — painting to resist, posting to awaken, drawing to refuse silence.
In May 2025, these artists speak out — with spray cans, brushes, and scissors. So that their works, on canvas or on walls, may speak.
And so that we may listen.
